short answer, yes.
the hood is a match, however, the fenders are the old style and have a square edge rather than the smooth curve on the 97+
also, the fender on the 96 may have to be trimmed for the plastic wrap around on the front bumper.
so with that said, you would be better off getting replacements from a 97+ cherokee.

Thanks! I don't have the original front bumper on my jeep the person I bough it from custom made a front Bumper and took all the original front off so I'm hoping that it might work

If newer fender panels are used, I believe the header panel also needs swapped. Otherwise will have two sets of sidemarker lights.
