Do you use it for a cigarette lighter or for charging a cell phone, or powering a radar detector?

Is it blowing the fuses? Is there a penny or a dime in it? I have seen that before. CHeck the wires going to back of it and make sure they are not melted, broken, or loose.

If you use it for a cigarette lighter, the lighter element could be burnt up.

Will it power a phone charger?

Need more information, I'm just shootin' from the hip.
