the rig that eventually lead to my XJ
So this is the rig that got me to where i am now but now shes startin to fall apart... in a way its a goodbye to my 1995 Chevy s10 blazer .
I have had it for over 3 yrs now when i got it it was totally stock and basically worthless unless you needed groceries.
and soon there after the entire rig was worthless because the entire onboard computer went poof. and we found a HUGE crack in the frame, It was basically a two piece frame... But all in all it worked out pretty well because i ended up with a 95 blazer that had almost all the inner workings of a 2006 (The whole thing is now OBD3) and a freakin solid frame lol
after i worked all that junk out i ended up with just a really nice basically stock blazer and that just wont do so i decided it was time for an upgrade. i went with aftermarket HID headlamps and a 2.5" shackle lift from fabtech (just cranked the t-bars for the front) I know its nothing special but to me its a big deal cuz i had to do it all myself in my apartment complex parking lot.
without tires you could never tell that it was even lifted so i fixed that with some 31x10.50 BFG all terrains on the cheapest wheels money could buy after a horrible attempt to trim the front fenders and beautiful work covering my hack job this is what i ended up with.
i still take it wheelin from time to time infact i just had it up at Mt. hood bout a week ago.... but i spent more time pullin out my stock xj than actually wheelin.
i dont know much about the jeeps but i didnt know anything about blazers and thats what i ended up with... i hope i can do the same with my XJ and i think with the help from an awesome community like Cherokeeforum im gunna be abe to build a sweet new toy to thrash on and replace my first one

yeah me and my dad did it at his shop and it was difficult but i majorly regret doing it jus because it has more problems.... the idiot light is on and off all the time just cuz some sensors that would be on an 06 arent there and the idle is way out of whack because the o2 is all confused
