Default Mild Cam for 318 V8?

Just threw a new Long block 318 from Mopar Performance into my '93 ZJ after the old one blew up at 200k. I'm wondering what a good mild cam would be to put in it that wouldn't require me to alter the build very much or change computers, etc, just something a little more ballsy. Just going to do the cam, a new intake manifold, and some exhaust manifolds. Any advice is appreciated!

Couldn't recommend part # for the 318, but I've had excellent reliability with Comp Cams in SBChevs. For your ZJ and the lift and tire I'd look for a torque cam rather than RPM HP.
Do you have a spec for the lift/duration etc on the cam in the Mopar motor? Use that info when looking at alternatives. Have you spoken with the motor source on cam options?
For a header, longer pipes to the collector will provide better torque, a crossover pipe between the header collectors and the mufflers will also best balance the exhaust potential.
I've had up to 6 years out of inexpensive blackjack brand, took em off, sand blasted and VHT repainte every 18 months. There are many long lasting header finishes now available, have to determine what fits the budget and how long you need them to last.
A dual plane intake is best for torque. Edelbrock rocks my preference. Aluminum will save you 12 to 18 lb's easy.
Post back what you go with.

Definitely going with a low-end torque cam, with my ZJ I'm not worried about HP. It's too big to go very fast haha. I'll talk with the dealership I went through to buy the 5.2 for cam numbers. I was more wondering how far and in what direction I want to go as far as lift/duration, without having to go different rods or anything crazy like that. I'm gonna try to buy some Doug Thorleys when I have money, and a dual plane intake from Summit. Mostly trying to figure out the Camshaft right now.
