I noticed an odd noise today. I pulled over, and noticed that the driver side front sway bar mount has broken out of the spring cup. The spring cup still seems ok, though it is missing some material now. It's a DD with 150k miles on it, 144k of which were put on before me, so I guess these things happen. I've done some research on it, and couldn't find a very specific answer. It seems driving without the front sway bar connected is not recommended, but not a complete death wish....DD about 20 miles each way about 60mph max no freeway. My current problem is that it broke less than 100 yards from my work and I'm here right now. I don't have the tools to disconnect the passenger side, and not sure how safe driving with just 1 side connected is. So, can I leave it be until the week and just put up with the noise? Should I at least try to disconnect the end links on both sides and tie the stuff up out of the way?

JMHO, but I would disconnect the links on both sides and tie it up out of the way. You're going to get more body roll on cornering, but as long as you're careful, you should be okay. Some off-roaders take them off anyway.
