So finally an update after over a year. I finally went and got a new piston and oil pan. Going to take the head off this week and start trying to Frankenstein the engine lol. Its going to get taken from a daily to just a toy lol. The head and block look fine. There is a small scratch in the cylinder wall but im going to buff that out. Hopefully I can have it running in the next couple of weeks

Wow, that really sucks! Good luck getting her back on the road.
Any ideas as to what caused it?

Ive got no clue. The block and head look fine expect for the small scratch in the cylinder wall. Ive been trying to figure it out for a year. Maybe when I actually pull the head i will figure it out.
