Default Any one wanna meet in the mountains?

I live in Kremmling, we have a ton of trails, and hiking sites here. I want to (august sometime, schedule pending) get a few people together to play on some trails and camp maybe... just an idea. We also have a site called Fossil Ridge just outside of town, where you can find ammonite fossils. Anyways, for my Rock Crawling friends we have a RC trail http://www.traildamage.com/trails/index.php?id=272 right by my house and roughly near where I think we could camp out... well let me know. I am wanting to wait until Aug. because I need new tires lol...

here are some of the trails near me... http://www.blm.gov/co/st/en/fo/kfo/r...ities/ohv.html look at the bottom of the page.

about 2 hrs north... take i-70 to silverthorne then take highway-9 to kremmling... small town but there are lots of trails in town and within a short drive. Google map it... it really isn't to far, we go to Denver all the time.

The trails range from "might as well be a dirt road" to "I am glad I have a Jeep" That sidewinder trail was man made by some local guys, I'll snag some pictures of the trailhead sign. It's pretty cool, but there is no way my XJ could do it.

LMAO.

Someone elses thread about the same trail. https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f13/si...mling-co-5329/ There are also some easier trails if people want to just ride and check out the mountain scenery.

sometime after the 15th... like I said I have to get my new tires in and on. But it is negotiable. Maybe 20/21st or 25/26... if that doesn't work we can find a date I just want to go play, and not by myself for once lol.

I wanna do Sidewinder really bad lol, halfway through the vid looks fun, not terribly difficult, just obstacles in the trail... I don't want any damage though lol, catch 22... and you see the dude crushing his XJ's door in the vid lol
