Guys I havent been into the XJ's long and have feel completely in love with them. So while my buds have been into them awhile and with me just starting we have a collection of junk XJ's. Last count was around 8 I believe. We also have a few ZJ's a 96 or it may be a 97 318 Orvis with a blown motor and a 98 5.9 Limited that a friend of ours rolled. The Orvis is getting the 360 from the Limited soon.

Without getting sidetracked again my question is how many other members here have a Jeep Junkyard going?

As for our own JY. Not anymore. Used to have a group of 4 but fixed them all but one that was so rusty that I thought it was gonna just be a red pile by the time it got loaded oh the flatbed wrecker to go the the crusher.

LOL everyone wants a hitch. Thats one of the few parts they dont have. I have the only one in the bunch. It came on my 89 and everyone threw there hat in for it, lol. I will keep my eyes open for you. I think there may be some XJ's in the junk yard here in Fitzgerald. I am heading out by there Saturday morning and checking out another 89 that burned the interior out of, but the motor is still sound. If they have any hitches I will check and see how much they want. I can probably get you the entire XJ for 300 bucks and scrap what you wouldnt want to keep.

 

It only takes me like 25 mins to get to downtown Tifton, what you doing this weekend?

 

I appreciate it. there is an 87 in our local junkyard that has a hitch on it but it is highly rusted and i can't even get the reciever out with a sledge. The guy still wants 30 bucks for it and i just dont think it is worth it.

 

Does the 5.9 limited still have the hood vents? If so, I REALLY need them!

 

se-real - It should. When it rolled only the roof line was destroyed. It belongs to my buddy Tyler, I will talk to him this evening or perhaps @ lunch and check with him.

skarpenz - Let me talk to Brian and see if he is gonna be home any this weekend. I will tell him we have anothe XJ fan that wants to meet up with us. See what he says.
