98XJ Auto shifter
Anyone know if there is an aftermarket shifter that would easily swap in. Maybe a B&M Megashifter, or an "Art Carr" unit?
I ask because the handle popped off on me today, & I'm not real happy about that. It did snap right back on though.
Also is it possible to swap the stock steering wheel? I'd rather have a smaller Grant wheel.
Can the airbag be disarmed? Removed?

Yeah it's cool, but does it just snap on like the stock handle?
Won't it just pop off if I'm bouncing around while hanging on to it?
I'm really looking for something that is strong & will fit in the console enough to look good there.

I think a ZJ/WJ shifter fits right over it, its a bit bigger and is sorta angled twards the driver. ive seen some people do it but im not sure what years fit
I dont know of much aftermarket stuff though (i think i saw one guy use a B&M shifter)

It uses three alllen bolts to attach to the shift lever. It has a spring inside to be able to press it up and down on the button to shift. I like it alot and it hasn't given me any problems yet.
