quick question... i have a locker for my dana 44 rear. its a Detroit electratrac. is this the same locker for a hp d44 front. i found a cheap ford hp 44 and i am thinking about getting it and going 44/9inch if i can use this locker

 

as far as i know yes. but i am sure some body else will chime in to give some more info on it

It'll be the same but I would count the splines to be 100% sure. That would be the difference. I almost 100% positive that they would both be 30 spl.
