Default Need aw4 tcu help

ok so my aw4 blew up so i threw a 1998 or 1999 aw4 in my 1996 Cherokee, now it will not shift correctly. so i took the tcu out and i can manually shift it with no problems. i was told that they changed the tcu in 1998 and 1999, so i went and looked at a 1999 tcu and the connector is way different then my 1996 tcu. so i"m lost and do not know what to do, if anyone can help that would be awesome thanks.

Don't know if this helps or would be somethin you'd be interested in but check out the radesign gated shifter.. eliminates the need for the tcu...

You should have no problems, as long as its all hooked up right.. Maybe some wire tracing is in order?
