This is what you should get at first.
First: ziploc bags! Buy as many as you can and label specifically as you can get.
Second: bearings. Advance auto parts sells a nice kit for main and rod bearings.
Third: engine head. Take it to a local machine shop and get it reworked.

Remove the battery, alternator, fan assembly, air box and electric fan.
Take off the whole front assembly (bumper, headlights, grille)
Disconnect any electrical connectors and pay attention to where they came from. Disconnect any lines and remove the condencer and radiator.
Disconnect the bolts connectin the flywheel to the bell housing of the transmission. (you'll need several socket extensions and a universal joint socket)
Hook up the motor to an engine hoist and remove the bolts from the motor mounts.
Slowly lift crane and pull while doing so to get the motor out without damage.

I rebuilt my motor so any questions, just pm me
