Default exo cage?

ok im sure most of yall read my last post. so u knwo what my intetions are with my cherokee. i think cherokees look amazing with a exo cage and i really want to build one on mine. i say build cuz i looked everywhere on the net for one and found nothing. if yall have any tips design plans or tips for me please let me know. im wanting to build a full exocage with intergrated front and rear bumpers and i want it to be strong enough to be used as a jacking point.

they make it heavy
get or make rocker sliders and good heavy duty bumpers and go from there

Take pictures of your jeep. Use a dry-erase marker to mock up where you want the bars to go. Front, Rear, Sides, and Roof. Then you can gather measurements using the jeep. I've read a few cage builds and most of them just went with the flow. They started with rockers and bumpers and then just bent tubing and place it where they wanted protection and connected it all together.

i like the dry erase idea. and i kinda wanted to intergrate the front and rear bumpers along witht the rocksliders in to the cage. does ne one know of any design plans? thakns again!

I'm also a fan of Exo-Cages if done right, it don't take much to over do them..

i like the last one best as well. but i like how the cage on the first pic is done over the front fenders it allows you to cut alot of fender out without it looking bad.

they have an article in Peterson 4x4 on removable exo bars for hoods and and such

i would like to read it! is that somethign you coudl post a link up to? how did they do it? one end on a hinge and the other pins to the ajoining bar? i would liek to know more!

no its two threaded clamp held together by bolts or alen key bolts
i looked on google cant find it ill look in my mags

Pic 2 has them up at the front of the fenders on the exo cage.. those are what would be used..

i think the two on the front of that cage are so he can remove the front bumper. i like that idea.t would be a good wa to make a removeable cage as mentioned earlier. if it was sectional it could be removed if need be.
