Default 4-link/coil conversion

so im scooping me up some donor d60s and im onna convert to coils in the rear. planning on running a 8" long arm 4 link suspension. can anyone tell me if i can use a TJ long arm sytem so i can have a single crossmember that has mounts for the front and rear control arms? or would i be better off with an XJ long arm system and use a second crossmember with control arm mounts, or weld universal 4-link mounts on the unibody rail for the rear upper and lowers?

TJ won't work cause you have a 7" longer wheelbase.

if you build a center cradle that goes back a bit you can do it but you should probably just start from scratch thats what i'm doing..just designin my own setup i can't afford to buy fancy stuff but the welder is paid for

i would plate the entire frame first. then build a crossmember for the rear links.

have you checked out the Clayton Offroad kit? i think it has a cross member for the front and a member for the rear long arms but they have a skid plate that bolts to the 2 . if you have a facebook page then they have some good pics of their kit and a lot of info. go to the photo section and check out the 3 link and 4 link. i 'm not sure if this link will work.http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#!/...00000328147432 pics.http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#!/...00000328147432

just g get a grand cherokee zj sutup the already have 4 link rears so the long arm sutup is perfect for what your doing

I'd just go with a kit. Staangs Fab has the best kit on the market in my opinion. The thing is ridiculous.

well in all reality how much can you redesign it... the simplest way is the strongest best performing so many kits will all look the same
