I’m running an ota setup rn. Heim joint frame side and bushing axle side. Gonna run just a dom setup with Heim joints both sides on the tons.

Front axle setup pretty nicely. Gonna try and get the rear set either tonight or sometime this week. Should start going together here pretty soon.

Got the d44 out and the superduty in... now comes the fun stuff. Setting up steering, building a new track bar, and getting the wheels on

That certainly does not look pleasant doing that in the snow!

Other than shortening up the tie rod a tad, steering from the half tons bolted right up. Once I make a new track bar I’ll move it down a hole and it should stay pretty parallel. Axles gotta move passenger quite a bit, so that should put track bar and drag link pretty close to the same length.

Looking good how are those heim joints holding up? I hear they are not the best which is why I put a hold on a setup like that for my steering.

Oh and I see your Alaska embelem hiding on bumper. Looks cool like hidden treasure!

been running em the better part of a year now with no issues. Granted it’s only seen something other than snow once...

Jeeps on all 4s now. Just need to gear the rear, build a new track bar and center the axle, give it an alignment, and order some locking hubs. Probably more, but those are the more pressing issues

Started getting everything lined up and centered. Slight possibility I may be able to swing a small test drive tomorrow, but we’ll see how much I can get done..

Got a nice middle finger from Mother Nature this morning... didn’t stop much other than wanting to crawl under the jeep to finish up the rear. Anyways got the steering finished up, gonna finish the track bar tomorrow to center up the axle more. Also got the conversion joints in the driveshafts. Gonna finish her up tomorrow, bleed the brakes and see what happens

Brakes bled, rear gears set, and she’s moving under her own power again! 5.38s and 33s sure is something.. lol. Also worked out a deal with a buddy on this sweet mj.. should be picking it up here soon to dd since the hemi is a gas guzzler. Anyways, just a few more small things and she’ll be ready for the first trail run on tons

Does the Jeep want to lift off if you give it a lot of gas from a dead stop lol. I'm sure you can spin the tires easy now.
