Default Bed Liner

Herculiner...ed The bottom door panels, fenders, side step and bumper end caps to prevent paint from chipping from the plastic parts. Also removed the door trim. Easy mod looks cool.

Roll on the herculiner. Used half a quart. I put two coats on and the stuff goes on super easy, and really covers well. I watched the video on the herculiner website and then taped, scuffed, and painted. The quart of herculiner cost 29.99

What do you do to the plastic to prep it for the herculiner?

Was it really as easy to prep as the video said? And how did you take off your trim?

I heard to do the trim when it's hot out, so I'm gonna wait, but take a hot hair dryer to it and loosen the adhesive and then slide some fishing line behind it to pull it off

I used a scuffing pad that 3m makes and sanded the plastics down. First you need to tape off any areas that you don't want scuffed. The herculiner dries in about 1-3 hours and is fully ready in about 9 hours. Once it is dry it is very tough.
