I already threw away my old fans, I can get one of these from Auto Zone would it be enough to cool the other half of radiator its a 1400 CFM if that helps?

Its cheaper than my auxuilary fan so thats nice it says i need a thermostat kit sold seperatly, can i just have my fans wired to be on all the time or wired to a toggle switch, or is that bad?

I just want to say i really appriciate everyones help!!

By all means install a second fan. The one you pictured looks like it'll work, tho I'm sure one of the gurus will have a better answer.

The guage behavior you describe REALLY sounds like an air bubble in the cooling system. Try parking your Jeep uphill when you fill it. Make sure that the cap is the highest point in the system. I'm used to Subarus, and this is a trick that works well to eliminate this problem.

To the Gurus, if I'm wrong, PLEASE correct me! I've been wrenching on cars for a long time, and I'm just applying general rules to a specific problem LOL.

im not sure if 93 and newer ones hav 2 fans or not, after you decide what your gonna do,also check the aux fan relays and fuse under the hood. it might be 2 of them for low speed and high speed. on mine there is 1 relay for aux fan and a fuse. but i also hav the mechanical fan.

air in the system is only a problem on closed systems 87 thru 90 renix all radiators with a cap allow air to escape thru over flo bottle hose hose
