Default heater control **** only on max heat

Greetings. I'm new to the forum, and new to Jeep ownership ('97 Sport). My heater control **** only sems to provide max. heat. No range. This happened overnight. Anybody else have this happen? (access behind the dash is not easy). Thanks in advance, MilesAG

No I think he's talkin about the TEMP control ****, not the blower motor switch. If that's what you're talking about check out the cable that runs from the temp **** to the blend door under the dash. Here's pics I took because I'm having the same problem:

If you ARE talking about the blower motor control, then yes the resistors are the likely culprit.
