i've got an XJ with a 4.5 inch lift and 31's, what size ball mount drop are you guys running for your trailer hitches?

Amount of drop depends greatly on your trailer too. You want it to be as level as possible because otherwise your trailer might jump off the ball. I would suggest goin to harbor freight and gettin one of there adjustable ball mounts. They are pure beef and will hold up. Mine has

research trailer sites for info; a trailer hooked up wrong will push you around. if it's a car trailer or heavy you could get in trouble

im on a 6.5 on 33s and i have a 8 inch drop, sounds a little rediculous but every trailer i pull sits perfect now

X2 on looking at the trailer first. All trailers are variable in height which of course will be questionable if your trailer will be level with your hitch choice. I use a 6" drop hitch on my jeep with a 4.5" lift and 33" tires towing a utility trailer. Just make sure that you do have enough drop because as you know im sure if the front of your trailer is too high it will start whipping around like a mother at higher speeds...
