Default boost

Are there any turbo or supercharger kits for a 94 I do a bit of highway driving and I'm looking for some more power and mph. I'd prefer turbo and I don't feel like making a custom kit these days. My ears still hurt from the last to had an issue with the wife yelling at me lol

Double thread? How would installing a supercharger improve gas mileage...? You MIGHT get an increase with a turbo, out of boost, but not for $$$$ its going to cost...

a lot of people get better mileage with a s/c... it makes the engine much more efficient at part throttle, as you will not have to press the gas as hard to accelerate

there is no free efficiency like a turbo, There is a liner HP consumption with RPM... so how would that equate to increased fuel economy?

have you ever had a turbo or sc engine that didnt come that way?

a Turbos energy is not free either... the exhaust restriction robbs a lot of power until the turbo overcomes it... hence turbo lag...

use google and search for sc fuel mileage increase... it happens

the sc overcomes its restrictions almost immediately depending on what type it is... if it didnt there would be no point of putting it on

Exhaust restriction is not what causes turbo lag.

Back yard mechanics don't always know how to properly set up a turbo.

Turbo lag doesn't mean it robs power. Turbo lag means it doesn't start adding its extra power unil the turbo kicks in. Since the exhaust is already there turbos are considered free power. S'chargers take power directly from the engine's crank, which is considered parasitic loss.

The SC doesn't ever overcome the fuel loss restriction. The s'charger is always spinning, always forcing air into the motor. More air demands more fuel. Turbo's are different as they don't spool (spin and force extra air) until the motor is under load. Therefore they actually increase MPG where s'chargers use more.

Its fact, and has been discussed at great length in this forum alone.

I'm with GOD on this one.
Superchargers are parasitic.

I hqve had many cars with either setup from mild to 2000 horsepower. I'm just getting lazy in my old age and want a already built kit lol
