By the way welding body metal that was even thinner do to rusting to 1/4 material is not very fun. thats why my welds look like poo on the rockers.

Not really a huge project. When i get bored i go build something. I dont worry about putting it on or getting it done quickly, i just build it. After a while you have a bunch of stuff that will make your jeep bad ***

I do want to get into paint. i decided on bright *** orange. just poof for now until i build a trail rig, then i will do full paint and body work. Did i mention this is my dd and always will be? I just want it highley capible
Right now i am looking to start a trail rig some time in september. I think im guna do a mj. 5.5in lift, coil 4 link rear, parrellel 3 link in front, relocate motor back so the tires stick infront of everything, chopped back so tires stick out behind everything (no approach or deparcher angles, and climb a vertical wall). 37s and fully caged. but its still in the planning process

Got the homemade control arm drop brackets on with the new beefy control arms. This old girl rides like a caddy now. I actually made the control arms for 6.5in lift because i will be going a little higher after bit. I still have to make the back braces/slide but not gunna wheel any time soon so not to worried. Didnt take any flex pics because i didnt have time to put the new front shocks on. The shocks i have on now are only for 3.5in lift so i didnt gain much in the flex department. I will put them on this week end and take some though.
Here ya go. not to bad for homemade crap

Also some one asked about the hole above my fender. Here is the explianation. I dont like snorkels that hang out on the side of the vechile, id bust them in a heatbeat. so i went a little different route. this way it is safe. I also dont like the look of most homemade ones. I was a car stero guy in a past life so i am good with fiberglass and what not. so picture what i have pictured all smoothed together and you can get a good idea
