Plenty of options out there for unibody stiffners soo id suppose that really just depends on your budget.
There is also a number of companies that offer rock sliders that are bolt on/weld in.
You can literally just Google search "jeep xj rock sliders" and pick your poison.
Anything you find through Amazon or ebay that's 1/3 the price of a Big name offroad supplier is likely going to either be a rip-off or made of super light/thin material. I suppose if you just want the look then there's your playground, but if you need it to be more functional, stick to the others with the product name website.

One day, when time and budget allows, I'm going to get frame stiffeners and rock sliders too. At the moment I am leaning towards Barnes 4WD products for the stiffeners. I have a fuel tank guard from them and its beefy, well made - excellent welds. I am sure they are not the only company with a great product but their pricing is better than many.

For unibody reinforcement, weld-on frame stiffeners like from HD Offroad or RuffStuff are best. Pair them with heavy-duty rock sliders not just side steps look at JCR, Savvy, or TNT Customs. Sliders should bolt or weld to the stiffeners for max strength. Skip cheap steps if you wheel hard.
If AJ Offroad is still actually selling his sliders, they are an insane deal right now.
