Hey everyone, As stated in the title. How do you find your offroading trails?
I've only ever used AllTrails but they have become penny pinchers in recent years. Wondering what everyone uses to find/research their trails

Try Trailsoffroad.com, Gaia GPS, or OnX Offroad way better for off-roading than AllTrails. Also check local 4x4 forums or FB groups; seasoned wheelers share the best hidden spots. Paper maps (MVUMs) from ranger stations are gold for remote trails.

I use OnX but it does cost like 2.99 a month (got a fathers day special). You can use their website to find trails for free but you'll only get limited access to the info.
For example....
https://www.onxmaps.com/offroad/trails/us/colorado

State land and trials should be easy enough to find through your states websites.
This can be considering maped through multiple offerings and you mention "the poors" hahaha. Buddy i always be on the lookout for someone's old used Garmin that I can the utilize the VV maping feature to display trails throughout the area im traveling to.
Now for the non state land/trails and private land stuff well you need to meet new people and make friends with the people or owners to get access to those types of things. Some states or groups also have member only access to areas of interest soo that would take more financial commitment as well.
