Hello all, I just won an auction and am now the proud new owner of a "ran when parked" 1994 Jeep Cherokee Sport 4.0L.
I had a look at it yesterday and the battery is completely flat, so I wasn't able to get too far on figuring out what it needs to get running.
However, I noticed a connector by the front driver's side fender that was not plugged in to anything. The pigtail on it is very short, and it doesn't seem to reach anything of significance. Does someone here know what it normally connects to? Right in the middle of the picture, near the vacuum line.
My 1999 XJ has a splice in a similar location going to a connection over the brake proportioning valve. Not sure if it helps you, similar location--different connector. And welcome, by the way.
Edit: In looking at your photo again, it looks like your connector to the proportioning valve is connected. I don't think my XJ has that connector.
