Hello Everyone,

I went to give a buddy a hand and find that his trouble is way outside my area of knowledge.

His dash cluster failed and he replaced it with a junkyard unit. It works except that it displays the wrong mileage on the odometer.

Can this be corrected? He talked to a "Jeep mechanic" that told him that the display would indicate the mileage recorded by the engine computer. Obviously not......

Is there any way to fix it? His GC gained 80k miles in an instant.....

Unfortunately the mileage memory is stored in the dash and cannot be reset.
