I have that same CB radio and I put mine in the ceiling just above the rear view mirror. I love it there looks badass def. I will try and get some pics to post. I did it by goin to ace and got some screws that screw into a plastic anchor which i screwed into the cieling its cost me about 3 dollars to get what i need to install. I also ran my PA horn through my hood by goin through the firewall on the passenger side of the jeep. There is already a hole there i just wiggled the casing loose and ran some fishtape through the hole in order to run my wires. I ran my power cord from my battery directly through the same hole. the ground wire i grounded on the two big screw that you see whenever you remove the dash in front of the stereo. thats easy just grab the bottom and pull out. I hid my wires in the ceiling and the walls.

I highly reccomend trying for a better radio. I had the cobra 19 kept it about 3 weeks and upgraded. I passed the 19 to a friend and now two of my friends have the 19s, and the reception sucks on them. You have to keep the squelch wayyyyyyyyyyyy up or it just cracks and makes static randomly alot, and then you can only talk to people that are like...10 feet infront of you. I had all our antennas tuned by a radio shop too.

cobra 29 LTD for me, mounted above my mirror, but i have the shorter sun visors which give me the extra room as the 29 is a very wide radio.

9ft fiberglass whip mounted to the rear bumper, drivers side.
when not in use, i bend it over and strap it to my rack. looks way cool dude. haha.

in between the center console and the passenger seat. Just enough room so it's secure but it doesn't jostle around. Location is also a plus because you can run wires under the mud mats on the passenger side

I got the cobra 29 ltd with bluetooth. I got it 3 weeks ago, and just got it working yesterday. I had to move my antenna to a hood mount on the drivers side. It just goes through the hole between the hood and fender. I rand the cable through the same hole as my hood cable. I also mounted a fiberglass antenna on the back. Just to hold a lil pirate flag.. lol

Mounted Ranger 2950 on passenger tranny tunnel (similar to Stillwater).. The antenna is roof mounted directly through the sheetmetal.
