See, that's why I keep putting it off. I have good heat, but it smells like sweet hell.

Its not only that but it will be nice having clean air ducts. No more turning on the blower and having dust pour out.

Yep, exactly how mine was. Wasnt dripping inside or anything but you could just smell the coolant burning. Sometimes steam would even come out the vents.

Default Painted it.

Still working on bumper end caps, bumpers and changing the lower body to match (hammered silver) in contrast to the red.

Changed my rear diff oil, inspected the gears and they look good - no scoring or chips or anything.
It was raining, so stuff started flash rusting .08 seconds after I sprayed everything down with break cleaner

Raining here to (still!). Luckily the XJ was in the garage so I installed the hockey puck bump stops (still have 8 left if anyone needs some). Greased things and checked the torque on the track bar. Also changed out the oil filter. Need to fix a stripped out coil spring clamp bolt at some point.

Stripped the donor doors for the half door project i'm getting into. Realized that the one weird hinge is a +'97 hinge on a '94 door that is going on an '88 so now trying to find the an original hinge bracket for the door to match the originals.

Almost halfway there! For some reason I thought I had to drop the column last time. Done for the night.

It's not that bad. Just once piece at a time. I'm probably 2.5 hours into it at this point.

But hey, send me a PM if you have want for parts, advice, or a helping hand on yours. Belleview's just a stone's throw.

But then you'll miss out on that buzz from the propylene glycol fumes.

Only in my son and daughter-in-law's house. They keep it cold enough in there to hang meat.

Had a scare yesterday while we were out and about when my wife said she felt a drip on her foot. Turns out it was a condensation drip off of something up under the dash. Had the a/c on bi-level. Guess I got heater core on the brain.

You might as well take care of the other ones while you're in there. I see at least 6 with clean breaks in the insulation.

Thanks man, much appreciated. I may take you up on that; I have been trying to figure out how to get my 3rd brake light and/or this freaking hydra of electrical wires in order to do so. It looks like the PO spliced into it for a trailer lights connection and I can't figure it out.

Not really a big deal but at this point, the major systems have been addressed and so now I'm nitpicking on the little things.
