Default 33x10.5 vs 32x11.5

I have a 4.5" lift on my 2000 cherokee. I bought a set of 31" ko2 for around winter time but i would like to get a mud terrain for the rest of the year. I know 33 is taller but there isn't many options for tires compared to the 32. I don't want to run 33x12.5 due to how wide they are and how much it will take to fit them as of right now. After I get bushwackers my opinion might change. I just want a tire that is rugged offroad and just good enough on the road that it won't shake the hell out of my jeep at 65 mph. I would really appreciate all the input.

Honestly no idea as of right now but I'm planning on getting a appropriate wheel for which ever size I choose to run.

Yeah, I see what you mean. I would probably opt for 8" for either choice, and 33x12.5 would need 10".

I can't help you much on tire choice since I run ATs, but I'm sure you'll get some suggestions soon.

33s are alot nore popukar then 32s....tire choice depends on your budget and terrain. Some mud terrains have more siping then others and other features like that....maybe a hybrid? Half mid half all terrain qould work dor you. Very popular xhoice nowadays.

but also need to consider this. Going from 31s to 33s would agfext your gearing and your xheap will perform differently with each tire. 32s are closer in height to 31s so something to consider.

You can get a 16" rim with a 285/75/16 with equals to a 33x11.50x16.

Yes 33x12.5 are more popular but 33x10.5s are not more popular then 32s that ive seen so far... when i look up mud terrains for 33x10.5 i can only find 3 or 4 different tires and that's it. I am planning on doing a regear at some point to match which ever tire size and weight I'm running for my jeep. I live in VT so a regear is necessary to keep a decent mpg.

I love my KM2 33x10.50s has taken me everywhere I've gone at Rausch with no issues. There are more tires coming out for that size.

I sure hope so! I've been looking at the km2s for a while now. The reason why I got the ko2s is because i know a lot of people who have them and are very satisfied!

How are you using the rig? Is there a look your after or do you want a streetable trail weapon? 33x10.50s are the best tire for a 3ish" lift XJ with stock gears for street and trail combo IHMO.

33's or 31's ????

33's would hit on my rig when I I had a 3" lift.

I don't care too much for looks I just want a capable rig to wheel and to drive to work.

I'm on 3.5" with minimal trimming on 33s. Blacks no problem at Rausch. Posted pictures above.
