Default 94 Jeep Cherokee XJ dash wiring questions/locations

Hello. I have on the passenger side under the dash hanging down a terminal that is black. 4 wires go into it the left side is 2 blue/red wires. The other side is 2 purple wires. I have looked everywhere and can not find where it plugs into. Would any of you comrades know where it belongs and what it is for? I will attempt to post a picture of it Where does this terminal go?

I checked my service manual and didn't find anything. My best guess is that it's for something optional that you don't have.

Thank you! I'll continue to do some research but that is a great idea i didnt even consider it was for an option i do not have.

Oh, yeah. It's common on all vehicles. It's cheaper for the factory to put in the same wiring harness, then add, or NOT add, the optional stuff farther down the assembly line.
