No problem! Just make it to the end and you will have a good future ahead of you.

I did a compression check on the silver Jeep tonight and it was perfect. Then while doing the compression check, I realized why my check engine light wasnt on when it was supposed to be. Either the bulb is burnt out or the po took the bulb out. It doesnt light up when you first turn the key on.

Little closer to my Orvis, Country, Limited, Up Country clone. Picked these up. You might not be able to tell but they are the fake wood grain. Now I have seen the tranny shifter wood grain bezel in pictures of European Orvis XJ's. Never have seen fake wood grain cruise control switches though. Wondering if one or both of these are aftermarket trim items. Did come across this site:

Took the white one out to king of the hammers to do some baby flexing. Way too many people there and a million awesome xjs. Honestly, there were more xjs then wranglers.

Yes that is a gopro you see. Goes everywhere with me. I may or may not have a couple videos from today. We will see once I review them. I am pretty sure I accidentally caught some air today and I really hope I was recording at the time.

Started replacing the front hubs tonight. Everything is down to the 3 bolts holding the hubs. Soaking them with PB blaster and a mix of brake fluid and ATF. Can't find my 1/2 drive 12pt socket. Box wrenches weren't cutting it. So tomorrow AM, I'll pick one up and continue the "adventure"....

Got a headliner and sun visors for the Comanche today, big score there. Now just a few more little pieces and I'll have all the hard to find Comanche specific parts I'm missing.

Almost forgot. I also "fixed" an exhaust leak on the Comanche. The gasket toward the front of the engine had blown out and the exhaust was kinda warped away from the head, I got some hi temp gasket maker and put it in there. Figured it was fairly cheap so why not try it before pulling everything off and replacing the gasket and header. Guess we'll see how long it lasts.

Took the aux. fan out to get to the steering gearbox so I could adjust the play out of it, nice very nice and tight now. I pulled the wiper assembly partly out to find the wiper motor had loosened its three mounting bolts up making it seem like the linkage was loose.

Changed the oil and swapped the Fram filter for a Mopar then found an exhaust leak where the crossmember hanger is welded to the pipe. that weld is pretty much broke/rusted the entire way around lol but no worries I have a plan

Didn't do anything but picked up these for it when I'm ready for $240.

Took the MJ out fishing yesterday morning, then came home to install all new tie rods, drag link, track bar and steering stabilizer on the XJ. Also painted the XJ grille black instead of gold.

Default Water pump.

its been sitting in My side driveway for months now. Life got busy and no time for the project. I started it and found the water pump gasket was leaking then found someone broke the bottom water pump bolt so good reason to put her back in the garage. Water pump replaced and the project is back on. I am finally going to order me a lift kit and start the install. I want a long arm kit and was wondering if anyone had any experience with the Iron Rock Offroad long arm kits? I think I am 50/50 on IRO or Rustys. Can’t decide! I had a rustys 8 in long arm before and never had a problem with it. That bolt was a pain in the butt to drill out!

Always liked blacked out grills better on these, Bumpers too. Never liked how the bumper and corners look when they are the same as the body.

It's actually a chrome bumper that the PO painted over.
