Damn right, and work was easy money today, ran the milling machine all day, haha...top that off with Friday tomorrow, payday, and the fact that my new welding hood will be here Saturday, and it's a gravy train with biscuit wheels

I got a sexy "whistle" from a girl in a bolted up JKU at Jeep Beach last year.. my wife was laughing her *** off in the passenger seat as I turned bright red when it happened.

My old head unit died, and no matter what I couldn't resurrect it
Started just replacing random surface mount components, but alas - my super cool late 2000's Pioneer OEL head unit is no more.

I had an inkling, it has been through a few repairs over the last 2 years or so, I have no idea why they are so finicky. I did manage to make a video of my dope XJ wallpaper though. Not sure why they aren't making any more single DIN full-color models any more, they were always so cool

Threw in a Kenwood KDC-X701 which I do like, but just miss the interface of my Pioneer. It does have APT-X bluetooth built in though, 5v preouts, and is generally more modern. Hopefully this one lasts me for a while, got it from Car Toys refurbished for $80 on eBay.

I had that exact Pioneer HU in my previous 4x4. It did quite well... plus I liked that it was a detachable face for extra security as well.

Got a radiator in the Comanche, rear window latch, vacuumed the glass out, painted the grill, and put a few bits back on. Plan to go to the junk yard and get a few bolts and tid bits to finish the Comanche, straighten the bumper tabs, and drive it back to clemson, then on Sunday if the rain holds out I plan to autocross it. I guess we will see how it goes.

That blows man... I feel your pain. I miss my old Sony CDX-F7700 that I had in my Dakota and S10. It was a killer deck in its day before the dawn of USB and Bluetooth decks. Mine wasn't color OLED, but it was the Dot Matrix display and I really REALLY miss the graphic EQ function. It was a lot easier to set a good frequency curve on the fly than it is with my Sony MEX-N5100BT that's in the Jeep now... major pain in the but having to go in and select each of the 10 channels on the EQ individually and set them to a certain number rather than just moving a slider up and down (first world problems, I know). Of course, you can have the easy bar-slider EQ adjuster if you download Sony's ****ty Songpal app... but I really didn't like the interface and, it was an unnecessary "link in the chain" so-to-speak. Android interfaces just fine with the deck without having the stupid Songpal app getting in the way of technology. And the app had lots of bugs in it besides.

You wouldn't have to worry about that crap or radios, or stereos, or crap. And you will save so much money by not buying music, concert tickets, equipments, iPods, and crap.
