I am 6’3 and was over 400lbs when i got my 4 door xj it did not take long to figure out i did not fit well so i lowered the seat and moved it back but then the b pillar was right in my way so i moved it back about 9” so a 2 door driveer door would fit then shortened the rear door to fit the other side is still stock and YES all 4 doors open and lock still
Engine: 4.3L with headers and full 3" exhaust system

Nice job on that. 2 doors do have better access to the front, but to the back it sucks. You solved it for both worlds

Right on! Great work. May have to use that idea some day.
I am 6'2" and totally understand about the 4 door thing. My wife's XJ is 4 door, and it feels like I have to fold myself in. Always have 2 doors for myself.
Found a new system of trails near my place today and it is awesome. Didn't play long today because I was by myself and didn't want to break something out there. But I thought I would share some pics.
