Guess what!
I was getting the IRO bumper ready to bolt on, welded and all is out of the way now. Just needs to be tested and painted! Go to slide the mounting brackets into the rear rails and boom! Just like that I realize IRO sent me two passenger side brackets. Called them right up, having the bracket sent right away! The bumper must weight at least 60lbs give or take. Also painted the passenger side primer to the underside.
Just waiting on the bracket and Rusty's shipment to arrive.
Cut and fold
Before oldblue#2 got home and finished the job on the d ring mounts.

Is that a 90 amp HF Flux core welder I spy? Or their mig machine?
140a HF Flux/Mig welder actually. With heavier duty wires it will burn through 3/16" on the max setting if you're not careful.
Thanks, it was good practice, I'm looking forward to mounting it.

Right on... I have the 90 amp FCAW machine. Does well on exhaust parts and I'm becoming more accustomed to it, but I wish I could've afforded a better machine. At least one that would run gas.

Update:
I must say, it's been a while since I felt completely exhausted working on the Jeep. Mounted the rear bumper to see how it looks, needs some taillight filler pieces to look perfect. Not sure how people welded the relief cuts IRO makes without the sides bow down like mine does, but still looks great. Replaced the leaf bushings with Poly and I have to say, the frustration wasn't the bushings but trying to find the right adapters for the ball joint press I rented. The press just isn't wide enough to fit the right size adapters in at first. Also got the Rusty's skid plate in the mail, looks amazing.
6-7 year old Rusty's leaf bushings. Fronts weren't too bad, rears came out as you see though.
Bushings done, JKS Shackles done, rear bumper primed and in paint process. Was a great last couple days of work. Oldblue#2 came out and helped make the taillight filling plates to help complete the look.
Bumper is done and mounted finally. Started to work on the Rusty's tcase skid, hangs slightly lower than the crossmember but covers a good amount of the underside. They come with self tappers and they don't like to thread through the stiffeners and the uniframe, takes some time and force to get them to thread through.
Jeep is on it's own weight and driving for the first time since October! Jeep rides great with actual bushings. Mounted the Rusty's Tcase skid, it hangs lower than I expected but really is about as high up as the 242 would allow. I'd much rather hit it than the case. Just about ready for RC this coming weekend. Today checked the diff fluid, changed engine oil, bleed the brakes, mounted the tcase skid, and got the new exhaust hanger on. Don't mind the rack, not mine and forgot it was on there until I got back to the garage (whoops).
Looks good. I have enjoyed reading your build. It helps to give me some ideas. I still need to build, or buy a front bumper and then I think a cut and fold on the fenders is next.
