Ordered IRO last Thursday, package arrived Tuesday. Can't ask for better. As oldblue#2 said when he moved the package into the garage, it's much heavier than we expected. The plates that sandwich the hitch bolts and rails are beefy as can be. Looking forward to building this bumper.
Update:
Spent the day working on the Jeep today. Oldblue#2 helped out a lot and welded the supports on the other day. Using brushed on metal primer I painted the finished driver's side for the day. Black will be put on next week. Prepped and burned the passenger side stiffener on. Removed the rear bumper for the buyer, can't wait to build the rear bumper.
Sunday was the final day of owning the OEM swing out bumper, sold it to a guy who lives in Jersey. Happy someone else can enjoy it.
Today I finished painting the driver's side and tacked the passenger side supports up. Was a short and easy day, everything is moving smoothly.

I got the ones that go on the outside of the C, but looks good. How close do they get to the u joints?

Whew! That's some close quarters now. Good work, man!
Instructions from IRO say and show them inside the C. They say to grind the gussets at the edge to clear the u joint. Looks like it's just enough to clear. I preheated the C before welding but with .030 flux wire and my skills it's just enough I believe, they are solid but not pretty.

Been debating on whether or not to do mine. My driver's side quarter is pretty banged up too....
It's a pain laying down having sparks fall down your arm but nothing i'm not used to lol. Less rust. I'll take some pictures of it when i get back to the garage. Waiting on payday for a nice cart from Rusty's.
That's what I should have done. I made my own but spent too much on materials from Homeless Despot, welded it myself which was a disaster, spend a tone of time on it, etc. Definitely not as strong as Rusty's.
The Rusty's one is very well priced and it's what I should have bought.
