I got a few gallons of the stuff in my shed. Going to use this small piece to dial in my schutz gun so I can coat my bumpers, sliders, roll bar and rocker panels.
You can buy Line-X? The stuff that an actual Line-X place would use?

You aren't supposed to be able to. And they use special equipment to spray Line-X in licensed facilities. It's sprayed at a high temperature and very rapidly sets as it cools
Having trouble trying to find bedliner in their site. Do you know what the part # or what the gallons you have are called?
I don't think they have a website. OLD shop thats been there for 30yrs selling adhesives and paints to the local marinas and body shops. They also carry a lot of cool molding stuff as well. I'll check and see if they have an actual website or not.

Never occurred to me to ask. Just assumed if you were not a Line-X place you would not be able to get the material. Never really asked how they apply it either. When I was having that work done I was in the back. I saw they scuffed up beds in trucks before applying. Also they use this special tape to mask off stuff. Has a very thin wire in it. Figured the logic being that when they pulled off the masking tape the wire cut through the Line-X to give a clean cut line and not pull any off where they wanted it to stay. Was not aware of the high temperature aspect of applying it either. Stuff would be nice to be able to get and apply yourself.

I did thorough comparative research before deciding Line-X was worth the cost in the bed of my Comanche. It's a very unique system that nobody else has. Patented material and a very specific set of criteria for application.
And for your reference, the tape is simply called wire tape. You have the purpose correct, and you can buy that yourself.
