For the price husky can't be beat IMO. (Tool boxes, I'm on the fence about there actual tools) Think I have less than 1k in all the boxes. (Just the boxes not the tools) took me years to collect all those tools. Just keep an eye out and don't be afraid to buy used if it's in good shape and the price is right.
Well I have gotten my use out of my box it is full! Time to upgrade for sure. I have seen the larger ones at Lowes and Home Depot for $500 not a bad price around Christmas time. Your right though going used might not be a bad option as long as it is in great shape.
I seen Harbor Freight sells some nice looking ones but not sure the quality and for the price I dont know. Some things there are good buys and others are not.

My big set was only $600, it got slightly damaged when shipped to my shop. So they gave me 20% off. For that kind of money I'm willing to live with a tweaked lid.
The HF (some anyway) are pretty nice but the price is bout the same as husky or kobalt. One guy at the shop had the red two or three pc set they have for like $299. Damn well made box IMHO
Still have my first big boy box. Its a leaning tower of death. The small one is a Stanley from wally world, Bought it off a dude for $20 and gave it to my son.
I got mine on sale and got the display box that had a small dent in the back left side. Can’t see it where it’s sitting, but they gave me like $50 off of it. I think mine was a touch over 500. Still have my small harbor freight box that I used to use. It’s full of random USA made sockets that I already have at least one of in my big box. I don’t even want to think about what I’ve spent on tools. It adds up quick. Honestly use a lot of klutch (northern tool brand) and Pittsburg hand tools. They have life time warranties and I’ve only broken a couple of tools.
X2 to that the cost added up for tools!!! That is okay everytime I turn around and do something around the house or with vehicles I just find another reason to buy a new tool! Seems to work on the wife and now I have more tools than I know what to do with. Hence the reason of upgrading to a larger chest this year I hope.
Ole girl is moving under her own power again! Bout to take her for a spin and check for leaks. If all is well gonna give her some zip-tie lovin and ride like I am till my shaft and mounts get here.
Seems like women don’t like us to have bikes. My mom has been saying I need to get rid of mine and get a moped. She says “I’m having too much fun on itâ€
Dude mopeds are more dangerous than motorcycles. Imagine constantly going at least 20 mph slower than all other traffic. I've had too many tailgaters while traveling 10 over the posted speed limit.
No thank you!!
I'll take my chances riding my bicycle.
As far as Harbor Freight tool boxes, they are great. I have bought a couple of them and the quality is better than my older Craftsman box. The Harbor Freight boxes are made of heavy gauge sheet metal with quality roller bearing drawer slides. Excellent quality considering the price. I buy VERY little from Harbor Freight, I find most of their stuff is just cheap junk. Their higher quality boxes are a good buy though.
