Reverse lights problem

2004 Grand Cherokee Columbia Edition,4.0 V6 I just bought the truck,and today I realized my reverse lights do not work.. all others (brake ,turn , park)all good.Took the bulbs out, they look ok.. any ideas what to do? Thank you..

Engine: 4.0L

Yes. 3 wires on the NSS, 1 for ground, 1 for starting circuit, 1 for reverse lights. Usually it's a broken wire right at the plug. The repair plug is a dealer-only item and lists for $37.

It's located next to the shift cable entry on the side of the transmission.
