Attached the leaf springs at the front, and to the axle. Attached the rear driveshaft, put in a steering box brace and unfortunately I broke one of the weld nuts for the sway bar... not sure how I'll get that taken care of. Shipped some of the parts off the red jeep and got some more ready for people.
I popped off the shackles, extended them about 3/4" and put them in a different hole in the shackle mount. It rides a little better, sits a little lower and still rubs at full compression. Next up, install leaf shims and remove a leaf from each side.
Installed my no lift shackle boxes and adjusted the front control arms some. Still having issues with the sway bar hitting the front and don't have any shocks for the rear yet, but here she is. Need to figure out bumpstops because they don't work with the front axle being all out of whack from the long arms
Stocked UP on oil at Napa. Bought 2 cases of 5w30 synthetic, I usually run T6 5w40 but hopefully the Jeep is OK with 5w30, if not I can use it in my sister's Infiniti and mom's SUV.
Also bought 6x 1515 filters, $3.50 each! And I got new rear rotors for $25 off. Solid sale, Napa

That's what I told my dad, but he's not too happy about the idea, and unfortunately I do have to keep him happy since I still live under his roof.
Rebel! Tell him that only communists keep their fenders un-chopped.
Wrap yourself in an American flag and bust out the grinder, he can't disagree unless he wants to be labeled a communist.
It's a plan with almost guaranteed success.

$1.49? Wow. I went deep last year when it went on sale for $2.19. Thought that was a bargain. They were also running the filter sale so stocked up. I just use the 1085. Toyed with the idea of going to the 1515's after reading about guys doing it but figured she is fine with the 1085's.
