Premium sound system with subwoofers and aux cable
Mechanically excellent condition, starts and runs strong always. New clutch, flywheel, clutch master/slave cylinders, and rebuilt transmission at 130k miles. Very clean under the hood and under carriage. Cosmetically fair, there are dents and scrapes from off-roading, I trimmed the wheel wells to accommodate larger tires, and I spray painted a skull and cross bones on one of the doors. The cloth interior has stains, but no rips or tears.
the bad:
Salvaged title
Small electrical problems (dome lights don’t turn off ever, so I took the bulb out, and power windows and door locks work great, but blow the fuse randomly)
Small driveline vibration 50-65 mph. This didn’t start until I upgraded from 31” to 33” tires. It could be an out of balance tire, alignment, or something else, I’m not sure, but when I veer to the left it goes away.
Small oil leak from the valve cover
Lastly, the e-brake is really weak, I think there is something wrong with the cable and only one wheel is engaging.
This car has been very good to me, and I’ve put a lot of work into upgrading it. It runs very strong and despite it’s flaws has been my daily driver for the last 8 or 9 years. It’s done great as a recreational vehicle too, though I haven’t been off-roading since starting a family 5 years ago. Only selling because I bought a more family friendly car. I intended to keep this jeep till death, but I can’t justify owning 3 cars for a family of 4.
Asking $2,200
I’ll take offers, but anything below asking price and I keep the sound system.
