Was having some problems with the car, had to have it towed to the mechanic, and he says it needs a new engine. I loved my XJ for all the years I had it but I'm not much of a car guy, or a jeep guy by extension. I'm sure there is someone out there who would like to rebuild this. I think for me it's time to move on.

Aside from the engine, some work may need to be done on the coolant system. There are a few small dings; the most significant being a dent/long scratch along rear driver's side. Rocker panels have begun to rust. There is some underbody rust but I have been told the frame is OK - good.

The other thing is I don't know what it's worth. I'm on the Maine/NH border and I don't know if anyone here lives nearby. If you are unable to buy it but wouldn't mind throwing out a number I would appreciate that, so I can gain a sense of what I should ask.

 

id love the hood!!mine had paint blisters. after my paint job it looks much worse!!
