I just purchased my first jeep two days ago, a white 1988 Cherokee Wagoneer. I'm looking to go with about a 2-3in lift, kayak rack,
front bumper/brush guard with winch mount, rear bumper with tire arm, cargo rack in the trailer hitch. I'm wanting to keep the stock look of white with wood panels but the outside is a bit rough. The trim is worn, the panels are faded, the paint needs redone, and there's some rust spots around the bottom with couple that has gone completely through. I want the interior to appear like a modded stock, and not change it entirely. I'm open to any suggestions any welcome all advice on how to do things, where to get things, what I should be weary of, what needs done at the same time, and what would make my off-road/on-road life better! This will be my daily driver, but i plan to do some trail riding for camping and kayaking and things, no extreme stuff. Thank you all in advance and I look forward to speaking with you!

There is a wealth of information on this site.
Suspension wise, the general consensus is to stay away from Rough Country, the price is attractive but the quality is lacking. Zone, Rustys, OME, Iron rock offroad all offer quality options.

Start reading. when I got into Jeeps that's all I did. read forums, read magazines, read manufacturer websites, read reviews.
research is key. We will help you fill in the gaps. Welcome!

Thanks, guys! All I've done since I got it has been read read read lol
I've gotten some pretty good ideas, and luckily I have friends, but I'm always open to new ideas and suggestions! Plus, I've found that certain things are specific to the Wagoneer Limited and it's definitely going to be a fun adventure with restoring/modding my "new" family member. Haha
