Had to test out my flex since swapping my axle and getting high clearance shock mounts. I need shorter shocks pretty badly. I was slightly disappointed in the results. 29.5" front, 27.5" rear.
Baby flexin! Still had the rear sway connected. Next step - shocks. I can fit at least a 3" longer compressed shock up there. Meaning I should get 6" more down travel? 3 for the body and 3 for the shaft.

Get rid of that rear sway bar, it seriously takes 5 minutes. unhook your front sway bars and front shocks, go flex it till your front tire travels as far as you want into the fenderwell and measure from the axle mount up to the top mount on both sides. This will give you your extended and collapsed length. Same with the rear.

Ya I know it needs to come off. Should have done it while I was doing the rear gears. Everything was right there... I removed the front one completely and it will most likely stay off forever. I already took the front measurements. Just need to do the rear now (once the sway is off). Then time to order shocks and get some down travel!
