Unknown "bracket" / piece hanging from suspension area?
Hi all,
I am new to the forum and I'm learning to work on my 2001 XJ. Today I found this piece protruding from underneath the suspension area (see attached pics). It's currently hanging out of this hole in this covering, but it can be shifted from left to right so it clearly became disconnected from somewhere. It looks to be clamped around a hose (to the radiator), but I can't find where this piece can be reconnected. Can someone give me some guidance as to where this belongs?

Thanks Big David and Dumajones for the pic. That is indeed the part! For future reference, can you tell me what that "shroud" underneath really is? I assume it's there just to keep out grime, but I need to replace it and I can't figure out what it is called.

I'm in Virginia. There is water everywhere. Keeping the alternator dry isn't really an option. Seems every time I take the Jeep wheeling I have to run through water at least to the running boards.
