Fixing to put 3 inch lift on my 95 country in the morning
I have sagging rear springs on my 1995 Jeep Cherokee country in the morning I will be putting a 3 inch lift from rough country.. I have salvaged the springs off my wrecked 1989 larado, the springs are good but I have had to buy a new set of shocks while I was at it I brought shock boots as well.

Morning. You can ditch the rear sway bar if you want. You should get better rear articulation without it. My 2000 Cherokee had the upcountry package on it, no rear sway bar from the factory. Keep those spring plates though, you might want them in the future.
If I understand your post correctly the lift you plan installing is the RC add a leaf if I'm correct that is not a good choice on 2 points first a RC lift very cheap kit and known to have problems plus the AAL is NEVER a good way to do any lift using old leafs it will fail very quickly and sag.
You would be better off waiting for more money to do the lift correctly instead of having to do it twice. The Rustys 3" full leaf/coil, shock, hardware kit is under $500 and is made in NA leafs/coils with it. Mine has been on over 4 yrs and very little sag even with a lot of added weight.
Well the donor jeep was one I wrecked beyond repair. The RC lift kit was on the 89 jeep when I brought it so I am using it for now but I am gona replace the add a leafs with some rust''s spring packs but it won't be done till after June.
Long story short iam new to jeeps and have had a bit of a nightmare breaking the bolts loose on the leaf springs. Well I got the drivers side leaf springs out then found that the u bolts were 1/4 of an inch to narrow so iam going to have to get the right ones. I am going to ditch the rear sway bar once I can get the lift kit to fit.
Has anyone used sway bar disconnect's on a 3 inch lift ?
