Come on out! Michigan sucks this time of year anyways. (I spent quite a bit of time in Mt Pleasant) Go watch some youtube videos of king of the hammers, and you'll definitely be on the next flight.

Man, I'd love to. Unfortunately, that means like a 3 day road trip to get all the way out there if I want my XJ with me. I'll make it happen one of these times.

Beef, it's what's for dinner. Got my ruffstuff d30 cover. I'm tempted to wire wheel this this and just spray it in clear. It's too purdy to cover up with paint.

Beginning to look like a completed axle. Mocked up some of the bolt on components. Nothing is at final torque, just deciding what colors I'm going with. Need to re paint the cav fab steering, it's gotten scratched up being moved around the garage. Knuckles and steering are both painted a metallic charcoal color. In he daylight the difference should be much more apparent. I'm really thinking about just clearing the diff cover so it doesnt rust and leaving it bare metal.

These cell phone pics really don't do it justice. Ill be sure to take better quality photos once its out of the garage and in the daylight.

Thank you sir. I think clear is going to be the winner. The ruffstuff cover is a work of art.

Just imagine if it had TNT coil brackets. These things are beef with shock studs and adjustable cups to stretch the wheelbase. How do you like the jcr gussets and truss? Looking at those myself

I really like them, they fit great, quality seems to be vey good and the price was reasonable.

The JCR truss is designed to mount around the stock passenger side UCA mount. I modified the truss to extend all the way across after I cut off the UCA on my axle. The main selling point for me aside from the reasonable price was how low profile it is.

Theres some more photos of them on page 11 if you didn't already see them.

They are ready to go. Just patiently waiting on the Alpha 3 link and some custom steering links/track bar cavfab is making for me.

Ah thats right, I forgot you were waiting for the alpha kit as well.

Thats pretty much all I have left to button up my front end. Going to try to get the front gears installed this weekend.

Looking at pulling the trigger on a Dirbound offroad DIY bumper. Cant decide if I like the pre runner hoop or the brush guard style.

Im leaning towards the pre runner style hoop. Thoughts??
