By the way this is just a toy for me not meant for the roads. damn i built that front bumper out of heaven steel alittle bit of over kill I think but that's all I had haha but I've been yanked out of a mud hole with that bumper just fine, the tractor tires works great in climbing these hills and going through mud except they're not tall enough somtimes the jeep will fall into ruts and my diff would stop me. I'll measure the lift when I get home from work, also where's the best place to buy parts ? Rusted off road seems expensive didn't know if there was another jeep website ?
You didnt tie in that bumper too great. And imagine if you had real tires! You would do even better! Hahah
[QUOTE=roninofako;3328629]Yeah, you'll wanna ditch that whole steering and trackbar setup, go with a double shear trackbar and bracket, and either OTK or UTK one ton steering.
looks to be about $500 and I'm sure i will notice a big difference thanks for the help!
I would recommend some shackle relocation brackets and extended shackles for the rear. It will bump you up about 2 5-3 inches and add 2 inch pucks in the front. That will improve your articulation a bit. Definitely need to uprade the steering if your gonna be beating on it with big tractor tires.

I've ripped Haspin with my yfz450 quite a few years ago before I had any cool 4x4 vehicles. Fun place to go to.
Now, I know "yota" guys (I had an 89 yota, does that make me a yota/jeep guy hybrid?) and if they were to pick up an XJ, they would have no problem transitioning. I'm not sure what it means. Is it an excuse because you have no idea what you're doing? Not trying to be a d**k but c'mon. That bumper speaks volumes...

. There's a difference between a 1985 Toyota pickup and my 97 jeep. And yeah I have no idea what I'm doing hence why I'm on here. And for the last time this bumper is not for pretty boys it's not something you can buy off the shelf and bolt on, it's welded into the frame (I was a welder for 5 years). Thanks for those who arnt being dicks and actually giving me suggestions
You mentioned Rustys his prices are in line with most others and better on a lot of them. His leafs and coils are all made in NA not off shore like so many now.
But check out our vendors list and go online for 4 Wheel Parts, Quadratec, Morris 4x4 to start you out.
My statement on the tires should have stated what you did about problems with them and the height. I do think you would find a much better experience with a different tire though, one meant for all the terrain's you encounter.
You may want to go into the build threads and see how others addressed these problems also.
Iron Rock Offroad is having a good black Friday sale.
You can pickup the over the knuckle steering setup for either 295 or 311 depends on whether or not you want to Reem the knuckles.
Their track bar is great as well, which is also on sale.
Those two items alone will do alot for you.
And you won't find them at those prices elsewhere
