This guys running a Zone 3" pack with 5 leaves, relocators, and RC shackles. Assuming the leaves are the same length as what I ordered, I will need a 1" lift shackle and relocators to get 45*.

Unless you're saying boomerang will get that same angle.

hopefully this might clear some stuff up, but in the end you probably ought to just buy the lift and then get relocators if necessary.

Got my lift finished up! It was such a pain trying to get the shackle bolts out. I also pulled my front flares off and just trimmed the bottom of the fenders for now just to get it to turn. Going a different route for flares because I'm really happy with the height.

Looking into the Hooligan Off Road tube fenders they're my favorite design and I'll paint them to match the green too.

I'll post more pictures of it in the day time once I can get it aligned, but here's some of the install.

HUGE UPDATE!

So I got my jeep aligned the last time I posted at sears for $85. Not realizing all they adjust is toe in the front... I should have just done it myself. LOL Also I got a new phone so a lot of the pictures I had while building this were lost in translation.

So here is a picture from when I first finished the lift and still had the stock shackles.

Then I built some shackle relocators to get a more "close to a modern vehicle's ride"

The bushings in the leaf springs were SOOO noisy, so as per the guy at Zone Offroad, I got some Energy Suspensions Formula Five. This stuff is NASTY NASTY NASTY, but it works great and won't wash off.

However, I then went to measure my bump stops and realized that the shackles were hitting the bottom of the bracket when I would pick it up, so I moved them back another hole, which stiffened the ride and also gave me more of a drag car "rake." I am still unhappy with this, and will probably ditch the relocators and just get some Teraflex Rebuildable shackles.

Then came the traditional Christmas setup!

And two pics with the guy I work with.

Finally got out on the trail with this thing in the snow it was a blast, but my tires ate the fenders because I still hadn't installed my bump stops and never really trimmed my fenders.

Now fast forward a couple days and I got a set of brand new in the box Bushwacker Flat Flares for $350!! Here is the only shot I have of the install thanks to my girlfriend.

And the bump stops were put in. I went with new stock uppers, and two hockey pucks on either side in the front. I was able to squeeze everything in between the coils and the pucks are shoegoo'd too the buckets.

(Don't worry shoe goo is plenty strong. The night before I put two pucks together with it and even with clamping one in the vise and trying to turn the other to pull them apart, it wasn't happening.)

And the final picture up to date is this one. I got a chrome grill too!

Great looking build so far! Like the others, I was very impressed with your headlight build. I may have to get some more info from you on that.

I'd be happy to share as much as I can! It was pretty straight forward.

Alright time for another update to the thread! Sorry for the slack guys been super busy. Anyways on with the updates!

January 25th, 2017
Ever since I got the jeep I've had this issue where it would sputter and cog after a start up and I thought it was the dirty throttle body.
/Users/andycastellini/Pictures/Photos

But after cleaning that all out, still nothing.

February12th, 2017
Picked up a Mossberg 930 JM Pro...

Got the hook up from Jeepology! Also picked up the XJ hoodie!! Thanks again man!

The exhaust finally had enough and the muffler completely rotted through and sounded terrible. So I went and picked up a thrush muffler, some couplers, 2.25" tubing, the rear section, and a new hanger. My dad had a Magnaflow High Flow cat laying around still in the box from his 88 Dakota, so I stole that and put it on my jeep!

Here's a before and after shot of my exhaust.

March 6th, 2017
Went and took some photos at my girlfriends house down on the farm road.

March 12th, 2017
I found a killer deal on craigslist! The Tubular style OR Fab Bumper. Went and picked it up that evening.

March 15th, 2017
I repainted it and bought all new grade 8 hardware. Then installed it!

March 18th, 2017
Installed the new Warn VR8-S on my girlfriends JK.

March 19th, 2017
Went to the season kick off at Quadratec with my girlfriend, Cam (Green JK), and Don (89 4Runner). Also Pictured Nick with the Mark VII Golf R!

We went out puddle crashing afterwards.

March 30th, 2017
Started to build a roof rack out of some 1 1/4"x.095 tubing. I got Haggard Fab in Vineland to make my mounts that are based off of the JCR ones.

Here's it mocked up.

April 7th, 2017
I hated how my shackle re-locators felt. The stock shackles kept slapping the back of it and didn't want to put taller shackles with the re-locators cause I want to keep it as low as possible. So I put on some JKS Shackles and put JKS ACOS Spacers up front. (Photos were taken today 5/17/17 because I lost the install pics..)

April 11th, 2017
Another attempt to fix my jeeps sputtering issue, I figured I'd do a tune up. Got new plugs, wires, cap, rotor, and it didn't fix it. But heres what my old cap looked like.

April 12th, 2017
Adam's Polishes sent me a sweet care package! Shout out to the homies @classicjoyce_ & @matthewjbutch!

April 27th, 2017
Went out after work with the guy I work with to "Whitehall." I was told that the only way to get through the entire road was to have a truck on 40's. Well we both got through it with 33's. Here are some photos and a little video I put together of all the clips my buddy got of my jeep. At the end of the video is me driving his jeep which has a locker, 4.88's, long arms, and a teraflex 4:1. Makes going up those hills SUPER EASY. It was kinda unfair.

I will be getting a locker after driving his. Any recommendations for something cheap and decent that I won't hate to daily?

And thats everything that I've done up until today. I ordered a header today and will be installing that as soon as it comes in!

Ill make sure I update when I do it!

Are you heading out to Jeep Invasion in Wildwood, NJ? I've been swamped with work, so every once in a while I get a chance to go out. Hopefully over the summer we can do something. Need that locker first for sure lol!
