Sorry about that Joecam! Saw all those other colorful engines and a few beers down threw me for a loop... Like the orange though being a Broncos fan here! But would have to say right this minute all about that Dodger Blue!!!!
Question for you guys. I have the same setup as this guy in the sounds sticky except my exhaust dumps right off the muffler. Stock down pipe, 2.5 CAT and Thrush welded muffler.

If I throw on a full length tail pipe, will I get rid of the majority of my drone since it is not bouncing off the ground and the bottom of my jeep? Here is my current setup.
Just got my full 2.5 tail pipe from performance curve and am about to take it up to a shop to get new hangers and the pipe installed. I want to see if there is something else I need to do. Thanks guys!
Tried to open my hood yesterday but didn't even hear it catch as I pulled. Took it today to the shop that did work on the Jeep and couldn't get the damn hood opened try as we might. A quick search on YouTube gave us the answer: remove the headlights and four bolts behind them and then lifted the whole hood out along with both hood strikers. The cause of initial problem? They had forgotten to reattach the cable to the bellcrank when they finished working on the Jeep!
It was all good as it was a simple mistake and we all had a good time hanging around the shop.
Getting the headlights out should've been a simple job but rusted bolts made the job all the more difficult.
To open the hood without a cable attached, you would have to remove two bolts holding the striker.

Decided to sell it to a coworker today so I can jump start drag racing again. I will always love xjs but I need to step back for a while and build my foxbody Mustang into a competitive drag car but I will be back one day... keep on jeepin

I began pulling the carpet in my new project and first broke the bolt for the tailgate latch THEN underneath the panel discovered the entire thing is infested in ants front to back i have never seen this ever. <br/>Sorry for blurry pic tried to scrrenshot the video i took
When I was putting on my lift, I found a field mouse was hiding in the frame rails. Once the torch came out to heat up the cross member bolts he ran. It was a long drop to the ground, since the jeep was up on a lift. I later found his nest on top of the fuel tank.
have been wanting to buff mine out since i got it last year to see if it would come up at all.. finally did i and man what a difference.. most of the redneck pin striping came out and the gloss is better then i ever thought i'd see. the upper drivers door just wont come up. looks like the clear is worn off and the hood is a mess but for 16 years old and over 200,000 miles i'm happy with it..
