Got the Jeep back from the body guy last weekend. Very nice job of straightning the apron. Time to get to work and get er back on the road!

$1100 to straighten everything out and paint all the junk yard parts.

I am pretty happy with it.

I'm impressed the body guy was able to straighten that apron. Looks good. I'm in the process of replacing the drivers side apron after having to do the passenger side apron a month ago (saga written here: https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f2/reb...-apron-226647/)

I got pretty good at removing aprons after having to remove 4 of them.

Glad to see you could keep this Cherokee on the road.

Yes, I have been following your post. Can't even believe what happened after you got it back on the road, sucks man but I love messing with these xj's, so easy to work on.

I was pretty surprised he got it that straight as well. Met him through a friend, does all of his work in a couple of three car garages on his property. Said he has been doing body work since he was thirteen and in his fifties now. It is good to know someone like that.

I have seen quite a few people at the yards cutting the top half of the apron off to replace on a wreck. I was surprised he got it this good.

Started it up for the first time in like nine months tonight, fired right up.

Just about done. Back to body guy for some tweaking then off to get salvage inspection.

Had it out driving and run great!
