Gotta be happy still living the Jeep life, having a 99, and something that's out of the mainstream Jeep world at the same time.
The XJ is uber capable just like any other Jeep if it's built right.

I came from hardcore Wranglers and what not, but my girl and I are liking this XJ life so far.

 

Had major doubts about the engine when I bought it. Expected to buy it a remanufactured replacement at some point, just wound up being sooner than originally expected.

A lot cheaper to get into than the current crop of new vehicles.

Got to take it out to the core banks. Followed your air-down advice, zero problems. Thanks.
